Description:
We partnered with DPR Construction to provide mechanical design assist preconstruction services, prefabrication, installation, start-up and commissioning for this three building project. Preconstruction services included budgets for multiple scenarios from conceptual drawings, vendor identification and equipment purchasing, constructability analysis, MEP coordination and 3D duct and pipe drawings. With the exception of Emergency Medical Care and Intensive Care Units, this facility had all the services of a medical hospital which required robust MEP systems and support.
The schedule for this project was such that design and construction were required to be on simultaneous parallel tracks. Project staffing, organization and communication were structured to insure success for this fast track project delivery process.
From concept to actual services provided to patients, this project spanned a total of 24 months.
